A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is a specialized clinical laboratory expert trained to conduct safe, sterile, and patient-focused blood collections for purposes such as diagnostic testing, transfusions, research, and donations. Phlebotomists work at the crucial intersection of clinical medicine and laboratory pathology.
