ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Diamond School of Nursing offers online Continuing Education (CE) courses designed for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs). Each course is developed to meet state regulatory standards and provides practical, job-relevant knowledge.

All CE courses are delivered through a structured Learning Management System (LMS) and include video instruction, interactive learning modules, and knowledge-based assessments.

Participants must complete all required components to receive CE credit.

 

COURSE STRUCTURE & CE CREDIT

Each course is designed as:

  • 1.0 CE Hour (minimum 50–60 minutes instructional time)

  • Self-paced, online format

  • Sequential module completion required

 

Course Components Include:

  • Video-based instruction

  • Interactive learning content

  • Section quizzes (scenario-based)

  • Final assessment

 

Important: Participants must complete the entire course to receive CE credit. Partial credit is not awarded.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of CNA care procedures

  • Apply infection control and safety practices

  • Identify risks and respond appropriately in care situations

  • Successfully complete knowledge-based assessments

 

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION

  • Courses utilize multiple instructional methods to support adult learning:

  • Minimum passing score requirement (e.g., 70%)

The LMS tracks progress, time spent, and completion status to ensure compliance with CE requirements.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion:

  • A Certificate of Completion is issued

  • Delivered via email

  • Available for download in the student profile under Completed Programs
